EP:01 - Columbo: A Friend In Deed

On the very first (or second, depends how you count) edition of Luke Who’s Watching, I’m going to talk about Columbo, specifically season three’s “A Friend In Deed”. Where Columbo sort of dismisses the murderer to investigate another murderer, because they had something to do with the first. It’s a good episode, with a classing ‘zinger’ got-ya at the end!

I also forgot to mention that at one point Columbo confronts Halparin, asking him why he asked for Columbo to be at the scene at the first murder. All Halparin saw was someone leaving the Caldwell house, how did he know there was a body? Classic villain slip up, also why would you request the departments best detective.
